"However, if Mohammed needs a logo, why not a cartoon cricket with Buddy Holly glasses on the label? Yeah, well, that’ll be the day."

And maybe you can even mail a box of those crunchy creatures to some special person in your life who is far away, (as alluded to in this youtube song)...

I got drunk at a sushi bar once and ate a cricket soaked in plum sauce. It was a one time deal.

1) Sushi is still “revolting”, IMO. I don’t eat bait.
2) And I don’t eat *anything* a filthy raghead is selling.

Sushi is a source of parasites. Fish needs to be well cooked to kill any parasites.

“”Mohammad Ashour,””

I’m sure going to trust someone with that name having a degree in nutrition.

Crickets are amazing in that when you feed them protein, you end up with a net protein GAIN from what you invested. One of few living beings with which this is true.

I don’t know how the HEB crickets are prepared, but I might try them. I had crickets in China a few years back, 1/2” long crickets deep-fried and dusted with confectioners sugar, and they tasted pretty good.

Sounds like the fish fly infestation we get every year in SE Michigan near the St. Clair river. They get so thick on the roadways that your car will slide as if on snow when you try to stop. I once nearly put a golf cart into a marina down there doing just that. BTW, tried roasted crickets once during survival school. Not bad if seasoned, kinda greasy. The exoskeletons make them crunchy.

I’m sorry, but we as Americans are too far up the economic ladder to have to eat bugs, even for a snack.

And when I saw the name of the CEO of the company, I said to myself, “It figures”.

Try a jar of Walmart’s Great Value thick & chunky salsa. You may never go back to the expensive stuff.

I thought the “scientists” said we are doomed because insects are going extinct. Now we’re going to start eating them? Doesn’t sound very bright to me. Like gun grabber Mark Kelly might say, you hear crickets in “outer space”.
