Most clothesline I have known could easily be used to hang someone. It only has to support a couple of hundred pounds.

Did you count in the drop weight or are you just going with slow strangulation?

Some clothesline would not take the drop weight, depending on several factors.

Double it up. It will work fine.

Most people who die from hanging don't have much drop, as they are suicides.
