There was this assassins guild that had a long tradition of being weavers, their cover was this weaving business. The called themselves weavers. And they sent messages on their "assignments" in the weaving. I forget how.

But the movie could have drawn from something in real life. Who knows.

Saw the movie. Your point is a good observation, but the movie was still a crappy one. :)
