Just finished organizing and cleaning the basement to get the ping pong table and dartboard back. Next the CO2 target. And making massive progress toward illustrating grandmother’s book of sayings, Hot Shots, from her newspaper.

Presumably for investigative use, not prosecutorial. Without a warrant could not likely be used in court. There has much been said here about we have it all with an apparent eye towards prosecution. It does not work like that (under the Constitution.)

From what I’ve seen posted about pocket vetos, a pocket veto is when a President doesn’t sign a bill into law during the 10 day period, prior to the adjournment of Congress.
If a bill is not signed into law during a Congressional session, the bill becomes law after 10 days.
I don’t believe Congress is adjourning anytime soon, so a pocket veto is not relevant.

Not necessarily nefarious. I have a Romanian friend who cannot get a visa to visit us, simply because he does not have enough property (home or vehicle), so that he would not consider overstaying his visa. This despite his sister being married to a US missionary in Romania, and his niece being born in the US. The US is pretty strict on who they will allow.
Romania is hoping to get on the Visa Waiver list, but has been waiting many years.
