I think that the Dems are coming out of the closet because they have finally indoctrinated enough Americans that it’s advantageous to do so. Those under 40 are cheering the open declaration of socialism, and the downfall of capitalism. I’m amazed at what I’m watching happen. Socialism is America’s future, and it’s a very dark future.

You and I think alike. AOC is a reflection of a change in the electorate, not its cause. She is the tip of the spear for the advancing Millenial socialists who have their sights set on transforming this country.

My read is they're still about a decade away from being an operative majority, so likely this will cost them the 2020 election. But long-term, the country is going socialist.

I hope you’re right. I’m good for about 25 more years, so most likely the biggest effect on me will be enhanced “assisted” suicides.
