DemocRATS Offer Tax Increases to America

DemocRATS Offer Tax Increases to America. True, they're saying Northwards of 70% right now, but when it fails to generate the amount of revenue needed for the "Green New Deal" (pay those who are "unwilling to work"), guess what, THEY'RE COMING AFTER YOU.

Instead of 12% maybe you'll pay 50%, or instead of 10% it might be 25%. Never-mind that the Republicans gave you a tax cut. Pay no attention to the vast majority getting huge refunds right now. THE DEMOCRATS ARE OFFERING YOU TAX INCREASES NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY.

America, will you be so STUPID as to say YES??

Just finished my ITR for last year. A family who has no preferences, normal income stream from work and an annuity. Taxes down 4K over last year on a bit more income. We live within our means, have no debt, don't have a palace or a palace priced home, yacht and or Gulf stream jet. We chose what we wish to support, like our dependent family and our Church rather than have the government steal money from us to support some flotsam that has washed up onto our shores.

So, let the dems tell me again why I should vote for them?

Yeah, and the Dems are talking about taxing Assets, like your home or 401K.

Yeah, why then should I vote Dem. And if they get back into power, why should I then not Leave and take everything with me that I can?

Last couple of days, the media were reporting that people were disappointed that refunds were lower than expected because of the tax cuts. Of course, they didn’t bother with telling people that the ‘refund’ is just the government sending back an interest-free loan you gave them or that less was withheld in the first place because the tax rates were lowered.

Nope, it’s Bad Orange Man has cut my refund!

Could some of these be the Rich who just lost parts of their home mortgage and state deductions??

The wave of those getting Yuge tax deductions is just starting.

Huge numbers of people pay NO Federal taxes.
That one goes into the pile of Reagan’s biggest mistakes.
There is no downside to them supporting higher taxes
that they won’t be paying.

Add that to the news that Jeff Bezos apparently paid ZERO income tax last year, and yes, I can believe that Soak the Rich is coming back into vogue.

I thought it was Amazon that paid no income tax, not Bezos.

Like it matters. The average marginally engaged person out there in South Succotash hears that, gets raving mad and shouts "Soak the ***kers!"
