4. Grateful Dead. No different than any open-mic night at your nearby coffee bar.

The Dead... a good jug band, kinda what you'd expect other at somebody's barbecue, playing in the backyard. Yet they toured and toured and had a fanatical following, regardless if they recorded / released new music.

9. AC-DC. I needed one heavy-metal band, Sure, “You shook me” is a great fist-pumper, but they’re all french fries, no steak. You wanna defend, “Big Balls?” Even “Dirty Deeds?” Keep in mind, this isn’t “bands that suck.” This is “over-rated.” Do you realize they’re better selling the Rolling Stones?

C'mon man! Thunderstruck! Hells Bells!

10. Journey. Compare them to Foreigner, Boston, Kansas, Survivor. Then go read the lyrics to “Don’t Stop Believing.” Seriously.

Never understood the appeal of any of these bands.
