Looks like a report is required and the release is up to AG.

https://www.govregs.com/regulations/expand/title28_chapterVI_part600_section600.1

§600.8 Notification and reports by the Special Counsel

(c) Closing documentation. At the conclusion of the Special Counsel's work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel.

§ 600.9 - Notification and reports by the Attorney General.

c) The Attorney General may determine that public release of these reports would be in the public interest, to the extent that release would comply with applicable legal restrictions. All other releases of information by any Department of Justice employee, including the Special Counsel and staff, concerning matters handled by Special Counsels shall be governed by the generally applicable Departmental guidelines concerning public comment with respect to any criminal investigation, and relevant law.

I've had an FOIA in since 08/2017 asking for documentation under 600.3 of the detailed results of the appropriate background investigation and detailed results of the review of ethics and conflicts of interest issues

(b) The Attorney General shall consult with the Assistant Attorney General for Administration to ensure an appropriate method of appointment, and to ensure that a Special Counsel undergoes an appropriate background investigation and a detailed review of ethics and conflicts of interest issues...

DOJ advised me in 09/2018 that this FOIA should have been filed in 2 different depts. So far, crickets chirping.

Thanks for you diligence in quoting all those legal statutes, not to mention FOIA requests.

What I was trying to say is that the report that Mueller will file is of a sort that other Federal Prosecutors file all the time. Short, and limited to "explaining the prosecution or declination".

That's a far cry from The Star Report, which was 480 pages, and contained all sorts of details, a narrative, fragments of depostions, and details on how many orgasms Monica had while being digitally stimulated by President Clinton.

That's what Adam Schiff & Co. wanted, but they aren't going to get it.
