Like I said, I don’t know the differences among the funding - hoping someone here did because I didn’t want to do the research.

Near as I recall...From last year, Pres. Trump allowed CHIP to be funded for 6 years via CR, then extended it to 10 years in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (which had a CR in it) - and got nothing in return.
They allowed CHIP to be funded for 10 years even though the budgets expired ?
So now I guess I have to go look for any weasel words in this current bill - an 1169 page pdf document with politic\lawyer speak in it.
We got a debt ceiling expiring in 03/01/2019 ( RATs want to adios it altogether. Repubs are silent which means they want to adios it too). It will probably get pushed until Sept.-ish.
