Glad you got to enjoy a great meal. I still have my mom's crock pot. The crock part doesn't come out in order to wash but its so good cooking meat slowly.
I had some people coming over for dinner and my stove went out. I had two crock pots and in one pot I baked an apple spice cake in a coffee can. It was a hit!

Love to put apples with spices, butter and brown sugar in a packet in crockpot. Always great with pork
