There is, I think, a dynamic going on at the population level that we see manifest in the fact that many young men are living with their parents well into adulthood, and many young women just are not interested in family.

Look up the “mouse utopia experiment.”

I saw a video on this set of experiments, which ran for years and always produced similar results in both mice and rats. When placed into a habitat where all of their needs were met, the mice thrived at first. But at a certain population level, they started displaying aberrant behavior. For a while, the population remained roughly constant but the behavior became more and more pathological. Finally, young male mice became interested only in grooming themselves and the females displayed male-like behaviors. Fewer females became pregnant; those that did would often resorb the fetuses or abandon the pups after birth. When these behaviors became more widespread, the population went into a nosedive. Even after the population pressures were relieved, normal mouse behavior did not return since none of the mice had been properly socialized. The colonies always died out.

The problem was not lack of resources. The mice always had enough food and water. The problem was that at a certain population density, normal social structures became impossible to maintain.

I see a lot of similarity between the mouse behaviors that were observed in the mouse utopia experiments and human behaviors that we are seeing worldwide. The worst behaviors are always seen in the cities; the most bizarre socialist ideas also come from the cities. And the cities are where people are crammed together to the point where social structures are severely impacted.

A consequence of “affluenza”... something we’re definitely suffering from. Once physical needs are satisfied, the more ephemeral mental needs start arising. Silly things like “gender identity”, order destructing “freedoms”, bathroom usage, pathological equality, envy and resentments for the slightest disparities.... These are the pathologies that will lead to chaos and eventual downfall... Until the “Gods of the Copybook Headings” return.

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return! “

Interesting... thanks for sharing.

The major differences I see, after checking these out, is that as the mouse population grew, a larger segment of the male population became more “masculinized” and aggressive (although you correctly stated that the females not only didn’t care for babies but ate them).

I guess the main difference is that in our society an increasing number of men are becoming feminized.
