I tuned out after the Rams were moving downfield towards a go ahead score in the 4th only to have a big gain nullified by a bogus holding call on their center. At that point you knew the fix was in. To add to that I heard later that a Rams receiver was interfered with but not called which would’ve given LA a 1st and goal at the one. Of course if you’re a Saints fan it’s all poetic justice. Still, the horrible officiating is ruining these games in critical situations and effecting fan interest.

Rigged. I said to my wife that there will be at least three bogus calls to help Boston.

1. The made up penalty early on where the Rams tackled the running back for a loss after catching a short toss from the quarterback. The refs said the Rams tackler did not allow for the pass receiver a chance to make a football move because he was tackled right as he caught the ball. It resulted in an automatic first down, helped the patriots drive to continue.

2. Fourth quarter, Rams fourth down with the play clock running and the referee standing on the ball preventing the play from starting, then releasing when there were only 4 seconds left as the Rams shifted from punt formation to run a play to try and get the first down. They could not get the play off, resulting in delay of game that took them back 5 yards and eliminated the fake punt.

3. The bogus holding call you mentioned.

3. The pass interference non-call you mentioned.

Rigged, I tell you. Rigged.
