“The press will find a friendly judge...”
I was thinking this same thing, but I *think* that the plaintiffs are the ones that do the judge shopping. I think this because it is always the left bringing the suits and therefore why the left always gets a friendly judge. Otherwise, why is it that they (the left) always gets to choose the judge? I *think* it is because they do the judge shopping before they file suit, but in this case, they aren’t the ones filing.
I don’t really know what I’m talking about, but this is my impression.
I saw an interview with the DA for this county. He was investigating and building cases, criminal, against individuals also. Civil is nice but criminal is dandy.
Exactly. If it were me, it would be filed in Kentucky, where Covington is located.
The boys were not public figures when they were slandered. That removes a lot of First Amendment protection from the Press.
There was a clear malice in many of the posts and articles.
There was an incredible lack of due diligence.
These lawsuits will have legs.
