Sorry, not true that EVERY school keeps copies of EVERY yearbook. Heck, two years ago, I searched in 2 high school and 2 public librairies for a certain year, "not available".

I think we should encourage our grandkids to make "# Most likely to steal this yearbook" a great signing line for yearbooks!

High school and college yearbooks are used extensively in criminal investigation. I have been to several dozen schools in about 5 states. I have never found them lacking a yearbook. That’s not to say “some” don’t keep them around.
