Not "ditching" -- disillusioned. That's especially true for those of us who know that THIS PLAN got Trump elected. And is/was a good driving force for reelection -- IF the promise were fulfilled.

He would have been far better off not referring to the Mulehead investigation at all -- rather than whining and backpedaling on the subject of "investigations".

(The only way his "investigations" remarks MIGHT make sense would be if they had already been advised of their sure peril -- and he (grasping them in a most tender place) was actually threatening: "Now, we're not going to hurt each other [squeeeeze!] -- are we?"

Bottom line: nous verrons...

Magnificent speech. Why would anyone ditch him. Maybe the swamp will be drained when Americans see that evil Dems don’t want their country great. Maybe more voices will be raised against the swamp when Americans finally see it is Dems not Trump that are causing strife and division.
