Ever watched Blazing Saddles? Funny as heck but couldn’t be made today because of how NONpc it is.
I did the same thing years ago, I was the clan member and a friend of mine, Aunt Jemima. Should that exclude me from politics? (Far worse in my closet than that which DOES exclude me)
Point is, those were vastly different times and using todays microscope on history is unfair to not only history, but to the future.
