CJ Wolf thinks he’s the Klansman; Brian Cates thinks he’s the blackface. “Coonman” was a nickname.
Hmm, now he won’t say which one he was. To commies, the blackface is a capital crime. They didn’t mind a real Klansman in the Senate.
Regarding resigning, theoretically I agree with Enigo54 that being in a costume of blackface or the KKK years ago is not really a big deal. But he should resign because the FL Sec of State did, AND because if he was a Republican, he and his family would have gotten death threats already.
BTW, there are TWO alternatives here for the people doing opposition research for Gillispie in that 2017 VA Gov’s race:
1) they were incompetent & didn’t find these pictures of blackface/KKK hoods & fun “Coonman” nickname
or

In an ideal world, it wouldn’t matter.
But blacks and other races can say horrible things about whites (and do horrible things) and they are fawned over and fanned and validated etc. So what’s sauce for the goose should be sauce for the gander. And if Northrup or whatever his name is was an R he would fileted by now. He and his family would be in hiding, fearing for their lives.

Whoot! We were @50F today!!! The sun was shining. Greenhouse got up to 111F. I left the patio door open to my computer room and it got up to 83F. I got to run around in sandals without socks. LOL
