Kentucky Bishop Slams Covington Kids for Wearing MAGA Hats, 'A Politics of Hate'

Reverend John Stowe, the bishop of the Diocese of Lexington, Ky., harshly criticized the Covington Catholic High School boys who were confronted by Indian activists after the March for Life on Jan. 18, stating he was astonished they would wear MAGA hats that represent a president "who denigrates the lives of immigrants." He also stated that "the association of our young people with racist acts and a politics of hate must also become unthinkable."

Legal immigrants are welcome. The Catholic church has a strong presence in the countries where the illegal invaders are coming from. Why hasn’t the Catholic church done anything about the conditions in those countries? Why is Catholic controlled New York state cheering for the killing of babies????????? Had heard his name a number of times over the years but it wasn't until last year about this time that I found out more about Fulton Sheen.

Catholic though I am not, he was an amazing man of God. And yes, we do need more like him now. Charles Pope comes to mind, but very few others.
