There’s no way they can maintain this situation until Nov of 2020. They may try to get through this year, then claim no new Justice can be nominated in an election year. But I don’t think they can maintain the situation through the rest of the year.
we might want to start calling our reps and saying,
‘there’s a rumor that RBG is in a coma - and we don’t want her staff making decisions in her name - we want to know if she is fit to serve.”
They only have to manage the RBG situation until Jan 2020 and then declare no SC picks in an election year.
