You know what is sad? My husband is a Vet, he goes to the VA. I feel bad every Sunday when I put his pills in the pill case for the week. I wonder what kind of poison am I giving him? I wonder if the VA is going to kill him off. I wonder if he is actually being properly cared for. That is what I think our country has come to.

It’s hard to find doctors that have the time to be empathetic with their patients and decisions are being dictated by the dollar.
Though you expect to receive the best of attention for the prices they charge, but most are working with limited staff and under pressure to see more and more patients for less money in the same period of time.
I see several specialists and even with interconnected electronic medical records it is a full time job being sure that information is accurate in the EMR and each doctor is aware of the other’s prescriptions.
Discussing if yet one more pill was necessary or not with one of my doctors, he replied: “Less is more”. I hugged that guy. #nohomo
Bottom line, it’s always the responsibility of the consumer (if they are able) to be his/her own best advocate. Wish the snowflakes would and quit playing the victim.
If I’ve done my part, and still I’m in doubt, I pray and rest easy leaving it in God’s hands.
I have a string of Ebenezer stones in my past to look back on proving that works. :)
