He was already extended once beyond his supposed eligibility, so likely could have been a second time.

And of course Trump’s team has had a terrible record of bringing in Deep State Rats.

Everybody forgets, though, that the talk was that Mueller was not eligible but that Congress could quickly pass a bill giving him an exemption and for Mueller they probably would have been willing to do that.
