The members of the Intel Community don't do what they do for either riches or recognition. We do (did) it because it is a job that needs doing and not very many people can do it right.
Keeping the nation safe is a TEAM effort requiring many skill sets. That President Trump trusts him to be in this position means that he has the right skill set for the job the President needs him to do.
