I do think that the Times has resources to report on basic information such as the planned departure point of the trip being Joint Base Andrews, and that Pelosi was still located in her office on Capitol Hill when the trip was cancelled.
I have seen some confusion here about her whereabouts on that day (on the bus, or not), and even some claims here and elsewhere that she was already at the airport when the president acted.
Trusting the NYT (and other MSM outlets) without other, trustworthy sources, is foolishness in the extreme. Their track record is nothing but lies, twisting the truth beyond recognition, mixing fact and fiction, and isolated cherry picking. So even if they have some partical fact or two mixed in with the lies, there is no way to know which is which without a trusted source to back it up.
I’d trust a flasher in a trench coat before I’d trust anything from the NYT.
