People are sharing their passwords with others. That is the practice Netflix wants to stop.

They verify devices
If your pal has your password and is watching Netflix then they can only do that while you are signed off
To have multiple users on same account you pay for it
I think it’s three tiered from single to several to multiple
I can’t say I blame Netflix on this one
