My friends I have no problem with it. We’re living in a man’s world. Watched it once and I see the guilt trip they’re trying to play on us. There’s enough truth to it that they’re happy to fish in troubled waters. They should stick to selling their products but the Madison Avenue executives job is to push buttons. Remember ring around the collar?

Yes, that ad implied the way you were doing your washing was incorrect and they had the product to clean your collar.

This Gillette ad implies most men are harassers, beaters, sexist or are complicit. The ad ends with the statement that only some men are doing the right thing.

What is Gillette trying to sell with this advertisement?
