So, I’m not so sure a congress requires two entities.
The etymology is irreverent. Our Congress requires two houses constitutionally.


Irreverent? To what? I don’t worship our congress, especially our federal one.

I wrote in one of my responses that the use of the term congress to refer to both chambers of the US legislature has become the normative. I don’t know what your beef is. Even if you had used the word irrelevant, it isn’t irrelevant to the people of the state of Nebraska. They are one of these united States of America after-all.

It has ALWAYS been the 'normative'

Article I (Article 1 - Legislative)
Section 1
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
