I am not knowledgeable about Kevin McCarthy; I was under the impression he was a decent guy. What’s wrong with him?

McCarthy was suppose to be tapped for Speaker, considered for the red nosed reindeer, whatshisname, (the drinker) but following McCarthy’s crap gaffe, occurring right during Trey Gowdy’s questioning of HRC in the Benghazi hearing, McCarthy blabs in a press interview of (paraphrasing) how “We’re going to get Hillary, for Benghazi”.
Gowdy was left FUMING.
McCarthy had “stupit” written in flares all over him, proven dumb as a box of rocks and derailed the Gowdy motivations for the investigation as “fair and impartial” and treating HRC the same as any other witness. (A Clean Up Mess for Republicans.)
He set Gowdy up for embarrassment, and McCarthy’s spew instantly played right into the hands of the Democrats, who set out to *more justifiably* charge “Witch Hunt!” against the Benghazi investigation and Gowdy, personally.
Needless to say, McCarthy was dumped as Speaker material immediately thereafter, and then comes “Young Gun #Three”, Paul Ryan.
Recall that ERIC CANTOR, PAUL RYAN, KEVIN MCCARTHY were on the cover of TIME MAGAZINE, or some hi-profile magazine, and under the Title, “THE YOUNG GUNS”. There they were spread a full page, glossy four-color cover, with their arms folded across their suited chests together standing on a Capitol veranda overlooking ALL of Washington, DC. Yuk.
Those three were slimmed down when Shockingly DAVE BRATT knocks OUT the #1 Gun, Cantor, leaving Ryan and McCarthy in line for Speaker.
Those Three were/are all together owned by the same donors of Globalism, Koch types, Chamber of Commerce, K Street, etc., at the time. Cantor was #1 Pick, and got tossed out in Virginia, #2 Ryan, played reluctant, and #3 McCarthy, nicely blew himself up.
One of those Three were always going to be Speaker. Establishment at that time was in charge.
McCarthy has blown with the wind shifts of power, but reveals who he is all the blessed time. “Let no conservative be defended” is surely his motto.
Meadows and Jordan, if it can be avoided, keep virtually no serious proximity to Dumbo!
Kevin McCarthy is a buddy of Ryan and had an affair with Renee Élmer former Representative from NC.
