She may be 11 or 12 but that doesn't mean she wasn't a threat.
I'll wait until I learn more about what led up to this incident but from the video she was not an innocent bystander. She clearly moved forward (twice) to engage the man.
The question in both the court of public opinion and law will be was she a threat and did he respond to the threat with appropriate action.
