I taught for many years in an urban high school. And most of the kids - black and white - were very nice. Pleasant and easy to deal with...when one-on-one. But the group dynamic was totally different.

Mob mentality is a dangerous thing. So if you can retreat, retreat. Standing your ground is a poor choice. Trying to reason with a mob, that’s also a poor choice.

The kids ought to be glad the man wasn’t Elisha!
