I disagree. We don’t have whatever happened before the video rolls, but he is shoved from behind at 6s in, and I’m pretty sure it’s by the girl who keeps coming at him, that he punches out.
They started the fight, not him, based on what I see in that video.
I think they were harassing him and did start the physical part. He answered with too much force is his problem, and there is a standard for that in the law.
