Under the circumstances I saw in the video, h did exactly the right thing, since he didn’t have a taser.

People keep saying this, but when this goes to court, she going to walk in with a very messed-up face, looking every bit the 11 (12?) year old girl, and people are going to say “Well she should not have been acting like that, but he didn’t need to belt her in the face like that”. On a site like FR, with a lot of people that give females a lot of deference, this isnt going to be a matter of “SJWs”. You are going to have a lot of white-knights, dads, and women from all sides of the political spectrum that will thow the book at him.
He may get a reduced sentence based on self-defense, but he isnt getting out of this with a not guilty verdict.
