Many years ago, I worked for an organization that “gave” all its employees “free” Newsweek subscriptions. I hated it and never read it. I wanted to avoid senseless waste (tree killing) so I tried repeatedly to cancel my “free” mandatory subscription. Ah yes, it was mandatory because my company was helping Newsweek keep its circulation numbers up, even though I never met an employee who actually read it or wanted to receive it.

Well, this CIA Outlet is still at work, pumping out eager articles saying Ginzburg with be back in top form in no time, according to a “top” doctor.

And then there’s this article warning the Trump administration (oh they don’t word it that way, but that’s what it is) not to even think about appointing a new SC justice.

“Speaking to Politico, conservative legal scholar and director of the Heritage Foundation’s Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies John Malcolm said that if Trump was able to pick a third Supreme Court justice, “it would be a brutal confirmation.

“The first two were not easy at all, but this would be much harder,” Malcolm said. “When Neil Gorsuch was the nominee, you were replacing a conservative with a conservative. With Kavanaugh, you were replacing the perennial swing voter, who more times than not sided with the so-called conservative wing, so that slightly solidified the conservative wing.”

So we are to understand we haven’t seen even seen “difficult” or “brutal” yet, when it comes to nominating a supreme court judge! Kavanaugh’s nomination was a cakewalk, we’re to understand, compared with what “they” will “do” to anyone nominated by Trump to replace Ginzburg. Newsweek never met a banana republic they didn’t like. What a circus “they” make of our government! :(

Can someone explain something to me, please?

Given the GOP in control of the SENATE confirmation process--WHY do they have to tolerate brutality toward the candidate?

Or, if they do have to tolerate a measure of brutality as the DIMRATS take their turns being traitorous globalist shills--WHY can't the GOP Chairman--after the one or 2 rounds or questions 'required,' Conclude the tortured process as complete and call for a vote?

I don't get this overly drawn-out torture session. Seems dumb, to me. Does the Chairman lack sufficiently robust cajones to call a halt after a minimum of turture?

“but this would be much harder”***********************************************May be harder but I’ve gained faith in McConnell...he would be expecting it and may be more of a hard ass in forcing it through this time...clear the protesters...minimize delays...etc.

...Malcolm said that if Trump was able to pick a third Supreme Court justice, “it would be a brutal confirmation.

I wonder if Malcolm is taking into account the "voter rage" window that was in effect for Kavanaugh’s nomination? If PDJT is able to nominate someone within the next couple of months, Senate critters won't have as much to worry about since their next election is over 18 months away.
