My guess is that he’s going to quickly outline his duty as CIC regarding national security and tell the world that he has ordered the U.S. military to immediately seal the border and finish construction of the wall in its entirety. Anything less will be a disappointment to his exasperated voter base.
And that the word wall is like "is".

YES! I’ve already contributed several hundred dollars, and I would be overjoyed to see the wall paid for in its entirety by voluntary contributions from the American people. That defiance of the Swamp by WE THE PEOPLE would reverberate around the world.

I would love to hear him say that he is forming an official militia and releasing a couple hundred thousand AR-15s and ammunition to Able Body volunteers over the age of 18. This would apply to all 50 States and Washington DC. Perhaps take away a bunch of side arms from some of the DOJ and IRS folks and redistribute them to the people LOL
I'd modify that slightly.
Trump will not ever cave on the wall, but it's also obvious the left and their media are recalcitrant, and consider this issue their Alamo.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear the president, understanding that, agree to sign a bill re-opening the government.
And inform the nation and the world tonight that he's instructed the military to commence construction of the wall and implementation of other security measures he deems necessary.
It works for me.
He throws the finger at the U.S. Government and fund the wall himself; at 1/4 the cost..
