I am wondering about tonight ... everybody is expecting POTUS to do border pitch to have military do the wall and setup national emergency, etc., etc.

Oh yeah ... been there, done that. 2019 DOD appropriations.
Of course the rest of the nation needs to be brought up to speed ... but that places the speech tonight in different context.

If POTUS asked for time to DROP something BIG ... maybe tonight’s address is what’s expected, or exactly what’s expected, or ... maybe not. TBD ;)
Chuck & Nancy will be delivering a joint “response”
It’ll go one of two ways obviously. 1. He announces the national emergency and that the funding already exists and that the wall is going forward. Government reopening depends on court challenges. 2. He will set up the evidence to support doing #1.
Either way I don’t see the Dims approving of any wall funding. So the above is the only option.
