I was a child protective worker in TX about the time of the CPS investigation into Koresh. I can tell you that is not how an investigation is done. The worker was there to check into sexual abuse of the girls so why was she focused on the boy and getting led down into the bus over guns?
This is Texas and Texans have guns. Anything short of a Burt Gummer arsenal shouldn’t have warranted a second thought. “Long gun”??? I’ve never heard anyone in Texas use that term. The first time I ever heard that term was from the weirdo coroner at Sandy Hook. The CPS worker claims to have first visited the compound in Feb. but didn’t talk to Koresh. Then she goes back in April and finally talks to him. Whoa, that is WRONG. State regulations allow for a week to talk to the perpetrator, NOT two months.
Was she alone in April? She shouldn’t have been since it took 5 to make the first home visit if things were so freaky. She should have demanded to see wherever in the compound and not wait half an hour. CPS doesn’t have to wait around like LEOs do.
This doesn’t wash. Nowhere does it say she ever investigated the claim of sexual abuse. The girls should have been brought into the DHS office and taken to a clinic to determine if they’d been violated. I’ve never heard or read anywhere that that had been done. If there’s documentation out there, I’d like to see it.
BTW, the big woo about the initial call being from “out of state” is a big fat nothing.
I want to catch everything. With as often as wifi has been off here, I'm behind and I'd really appreciate the help. If there's someone out there who is inspired to organize information and you'd like to take on the task of creating a methodology, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
Off the top of my head, here's an example of corrections I'd like to make: I think I labeled some things "general" when the proper word would be something like "comprehensive". We're still at the collection stage, entering correction stage. When we're ready to go, I'll repost with corrections and ping the thread so that I can catch those whose posts I missed entirely. THANKQ for looking after us with great suggestions.
