At this point in this thread, Shep Smith is fairly preening that no nets or cables have granted the Tuesday air time to the president.
Shep recalls Obamas one request for a prime time address on the subject of immigration was rejected.
He said FOX has so far, passed no word down to anyone inside the building that this is going to happen and they usually know first, when the decision is made.
That was an hour ago or more.
I am reminded when GWB asked the nets for time to make a major announcement on the war in Iraq. The networks declined declaring it 'political'... shades of FDR fireside chats. 😕
