NIKK...I have never seen the movie but have listened to some of the music many times....amazing MUSIC! My dad would take us to the circus every year when we were small....I Hated the circus...it really upset me. I guess I was very sensitive as a child...and the people working the circus gave me the impression back then of being sad poor people. ....so when the movie came out...I stayed away from seeing it....maybe I’ll listen more to the actual movie music. Thanks.
I never saw a circus, but this musical is quite good. VERY loosely based on PT Barnum. They don’t show any animals until the very last scene and it is a very happy dance. The music is great. The choreograph is extremely good. Entertaining.
