Those are good signs cities. We have three here around that size and any one of them has all the shopping we could want. And doctors and everything else. I’d like the sizes, I hate big cities in traffic. None of these towns seem too big but I’m still happy to get back to our little town which is about fifteen thousand. But it is all spread out, very rural.
That sounds about like your setup. Except no tall trees, and little snow. And Hills that they call mountains :-)

When I’m describing some things to Texans, I’ll say “hill”, then I’ll say that in Texas it would be called a mountain but it’s actually just a hill.
