The President’s proposal demonstrates his commitment to reopening our govt and addressing the crisis at the border. Pelosi rejected this compromise outright.
Dem colleagues: come to the table and negotiate in good faith. It is our duty to secure our border and reopen the govt.
Just had a nice thought: what if Pelosi is overthrown as Speaker—she looks like she is done anyway—she may be asked by her side to step down, or she may be forced to retire due to past “indiscretions”(like treason), disguised as health issues?
This could get very interesting.
