We were city folk, raised in Denver. Moved to this farm in Guthrie, Ok. to retire. Neighbors had a 25 year old mule. They were 80, and it was getting hard on them to “pick up” after him, so we took him. Built him a barn and spent many a day learning how to take care of him from our neighbors. But, Jake was so lonely (they had another one that died right before we got Jake), that we talked to the old owners and decided on the babies. So now, we have Jake and the Juvies. This city girl never knew how to really live until we came to our little farm and got owned by several critters. They are amazing. I have been cussed out, cried to and cuddled by them and they always made sure I knew what they were thinking. I am in heaven!

Was watching wifi tv this week — a program was showing some of the wall being built. The contractors were wearing camouflage and vehicles were all military issue. Just the big yellow (cats by appearance ) looked like none
military contractors but their operators were also wearing fatigues.
Might as well “train” our guys while getting the job done.
