I remember reading something about that - so many arrests,not just in DC area, of MS-13 and other drug/etc gangs - was really hampering the elites’ drug money flow, trafficking $, and hired hit men etc.

I just spoke tonight with someone who is convinced that the steady stream of illegal aliens into this country is due to "political violence in their home countries." I pointed out that in reality many of these aliens claim to come here for economic opportunity (they are not fleeing violence) and that much of this has to do with drugs, and many of these people commit identity theft.

Was your listener receptive? Hard for them to switch from the MSM narrative that these are the victims of their country to the idea that there’s money to be made working US drug/gun/trafficking trade.

Illegals commit massive crime and cost the US roughly $100 billion a year - and they bring violence with them. Of cousre so many central American (and other) governments are corrupt but the US can’t take all the residents of corrupt nations all over the world.

Plus Dems would not win elections without illegals voting, that’s one of the main reasons they want open borders.

The “steady stream” is BECAUSE they all cost the USA 150B/yr.
That is money going to businesses and individuals providing “services” to these illegal immigrants.

Those befitting from this are lobbying=paying the Dems to prevent a wall.

a good chunk of cash flow from drug traveling most probably also makes it way into campaign coffers of Dems
