One can be academically “intelligent” and yet stupider than a mentally disabled illiterate.
Academic 'contractors' have taken over ER admissions operations (and elsewhere) at the hospital where my son works... they are turning it in to a disaster. The people who work there tell upper hospital management that they tried those procedures already and they did not work... but the academics - who have never run an ER - have all that wonderful theory.
AND, if the academics are given a 'bye' then the management would have to return to doing their jobs. There is a lot more but I better leave it at this.
We can already see what academics are doing to D.C. Harvard economists are continuously 'surprised' at DJT's success, while you and I understand it perfectly. I remember the Ivy League brain that tried to argue socialism with Tucker Carlson a few weeks ago - and failed miserably. He descended in to emotionalism and with a smug smirk told Tucker that socialism is the wave of the future so get used to it. . . . I guess he told Tucker!
