Hallmarks famed Christmas movies have been known for revisiting the same stable of stars which until recently, hasnt left much room for faces that arent white. But this season, the brand has made an effort for diversity. Its no longer a whitewashed Christmas on Hallmark, though it still has a way to go for a truly inclusive winter wonderland.
I forgot to click excerpt for this article.
Christmas isnt about your sexuality. If blacks were as overrepresented as sodomites on TV, no white actors would get work.
Less than 1% of the population but every show has to have one it it.
Nonsense and propaganda.
We should either ban TV or Christmas.
We're almost there. It's what the liberals want.
I’m not keeping score about such trivia.
Whatever the market will bear or demand as seen from spending habits.
Never mind how talented they are or aren’t, as long as they’re the right color - that used to be called racism.....
Less than 2% of the population fits that special category. I dont care what they wan. Let them show movies on LOGO or BRAVO if thats what they want
My wife loves Hallmark Christmas chick flicks (yeah, I said it) featuring perfect people of perfect body weight and perfect attractiveness and perfect age anguishing over situations that exist only when beautiful people of superior genes interact.
They make me feel even more tired, fat and old than I already am.
In 2012 Michelle Obama said Barack has a lot of work to do to change our history and tradition. He did that for four years and the Democrats are continuing his evil work.
Liberals agree with:
"Your skin color is your uniform." - George Lincoln Rockwell
Ive started noticing some pc junk.......Im pretty sure todays romantic lead fits the LBG whatever criteria....
This will spell the end of Hallmark
I was right...
Jonathan Bennett, who played the romantic lead, has openly come out as gay, last year
This is a new Hallmark movie, so they made their decision
December is usually a hectic time of the year, especially the closer it gets to Christmas.
The Hallmark channel's Christmas stories are a welcome relief to the rest of the crap that is on TV......
Is that even possible?
As Rush has said...(paraphrasing here)
“If aliens were monitoring our television broadcasts, they’d think half of this planet is black, and the other half is gay”
“Hallmark did occasionally cast biracial white-passing actresses like...”
Passing?
These lefty writers are klansmen from decades ago.
I watched a few with her and the basic plot is like this:
Successful working woman from the city takes a vacation from her high-stress six figure corporate job to visit the country during the Christmas season in which she meets some very masculine blue-collar man who just lost his wife to cancer and has two or three kids running around. She ends up in a snowball fight with the kids and after getting knocked down, the man picks her up and they start kissing. A little drama ensues. But in the end, she eschews her life in the city and decides she will stay with the man and the kids out in the country living a simpler life.
What this tells me is that most of these career city women are unfulfilled and wish for a real man to come into their lives.
Lord Jesus who came into the world to save mankind from its sin, we beseech you to pour out your grace on those with unnatural affections for the flesh and the devil. Heal them in mind, body, & spirit, and turn them back to the proper path of righteousness and respect for your Word. Amen.
A few days ago, the Lifetime channel had a gay Episcopal priest and his “husband” with their adopted baby along with the obligatory remark about small towns not accepting gays. Chewy pet food boxes lined the church and the priest said how much he appreciated the donation for their homeless folks’ pets. Chewy was put on my ban list immediately after the channel change.
Noticed several jewelry commercials have gone gay this year.
I’ve stuck to Hallmark holiday movies since. Yes, they’ve had more diversity in their casting the past couple of years. Fine by me, just so they keep the four letter words out of Christmas and no LGBTXYZWHATEVER.
