Do the roads get bad there when it snows?

The rural roads are terrible, hubby had to dig out truck with the snow blower then he takes a running shot at our road, no plow in sight yet, he did call and say they had made it to Slaveway.
No plows out on the back roads yet but the highway was plowed, we live a ways from the highway.
We got well over a foot of that wonderful white stuff, I can’t be unhappy even tho it causes problems.
