Actually two boxes. 12 bottle wine boxes I picked up at store Sat. Empty unfortunately LOL... One is for son Jeff. one is for his GF. Both hard luck cases who found each other and saved each other. I have been so fearful of Jeff / suicide. She has given him joy and support and he saved her life. He met her 2 years ago when he was in apt. She was ready to deliver her first child. Her husband beat her savagely and other abuse..mental etc. Jeff stepped in. He got her clean (my son is very anti drug) .. she was on various drugs and drinking too heavily (and pregnant). No parents on scene she was raised by her aunt and uncle. Here mom died when she was 6 of drug overdoes. Father committed suiide a few years later.

My son has been supporting them by donating plasma 2 times a week. She works at a fast food place. Jeff just recently started delivery at pizza place. Kills him pain wise with the improperly healed ankle.

so I did go to the thrift shop and got her some things - warm things. They are in his trailer which for now is unheated. They want to get power/heat back on. Basic toiletries. gloves, socks, warm hats.

and a lot of prayers.
