I read something similar to Sperry’s findings a few weeks back and can not remember the source. (I don’t believe it was by Sperry, but I didn’t see the Sperry date of publish, either.)

Certainly the fact of “No Leaks”, whatsoever, from Huber or Horowitz gave me pause, meaning that phenomenon would be explained, IF, there was no pursuit happening and no interviews going on. A little scary, admittedly.

I liked this from UPSDRIVER:
“The subject of the investigators never interviewing key witnesses keeps coming up. If they “have it all”, why would interviews be necessary? Seems to me that the less contact with those waiting to be indicted, the better.”

ransomnote: If you have complete records on crimes, seems like that would be enough to get an indictment. THe “less contact” angle would help keep calm other in the vicinity committing crimes. Everything kept still on the surface of the lake....

Not if you know how agressively this adminstration pursues leakers.

The number of leak probes run out of the Justice Department has increased 800%, according to testimony Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered today on Capitol Hill.

Sessions said the Justice Department currently has 27 open investigations into these matters. He added that in the previous three years, there have been a total of nine such investigations –– just three last year.

A nine-fold increase, in other words.

“In the whole history of the country, there have only been about a dozen prosecutions for leaks,” said Ben Wizner, an attorney with the ACLU who also represents Edward Snowden. “So the 27 number, if it’s real, is staggering.”
