A 45 mm will take care of some armored vehicles. If you are shooting by hand you will need the liquor.
It sure will... or an armored car, if you happen to run afoul of one.

45mm equals 1.772 inches which I believe would provide a significant blood pathway to drain a bear very quickly.
Myself I have shot 45acp which is about .452 inch and 9mm which is about .357 inch.
