Looking back thru these threads, I notice that the PM’s he sent were to those that did not engage him. There are implications to that tactic.

I did not engage him and I received a PM. I had the definite feeling I was being probed. This would be consistent with your observation.
I did not engage him although he posted to me and tried to rope me in, and I didn’t get a PM. He must have choses who he sent messages to for some reason or reasons.
