Many seem to believe Mark Meadows harrumphing at these two witnesses was a “show”.
I don’t. In fact, these Congress critters are not capable, or talented enough, to convincingly play an acting role.
The Jordan types who tell it like it is are far more convincing. This is why they are maligned and made a tiny remnant in the House.
Mark Meadows is still an enigma, for me.
He was damn late to the table, no warrior ever, and is useful only for his nerdness on congressional processes. I don’t see Meadows as being even all that on board with Trump. He skirts the hand to hand combat, and I think plays the odds with process.
I found myself not buying Meadows, but liked Moynihan and Doyle.

These are my observations and I could be very wrong.
Meadows is the leader of the Freedom Caucus. He’s had POTUS’s back all along. He’s been out front of this thing from the beginning but he’s let guys like Jim Jordan make all the noise...and Jordan’s done a great job. In the beginning there were only 4 House Memders who stood up for POTUS...Matt Gaetz, Ron DeSantis, Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows.
