I dug a little deeper. Looks like he doesn't want the Stevens fiasco to ever happen again on any of his cases.

Sullivan enters identical standing orders as a matter of course in all of his criminal cases, as he explained in a 2016 Cardozo Law Review article: “Following the Stevens case, I have issued a standing Brady Order for each criminal case on my docket, updating it in reaction to developments in the law.”

This I don't understand. When I worked in the prosecutor's office (the DA), during discovery I had to turn over ALL evidence, especially the exculpatory stuff. If we were caught withholding that, we were in big trouble, or so I was told. I never withheld it, so never had to suffer the consequences.

Sooo...not everyone does that? It's the law..
